Author: Larissa Ione
Publisher: Grand Central Publishing HER TOUCH IS DEADLY
As the only female Seminus demon ever born, master assassin Sinead Donnelly is used to being treated like an outcast. She spent decades enslaved, and now vows she'll die before she'll relinquish her freedom again. Then Sin's innate ability to kill her enemies goes awry: She creates a lethal new werewolf virus that sparks a firestorm of panic and violence. HIS HUNGER CAN'T BE DENIED
Half-werewolf, half-vampire Conall Dearghul is charged with bringing in Sin to face punishment for the plague. And she's no stranger: He's bound to her by blood, and the one sexual encounter they shared has left him hungering for her raw sensuality. Worse, Sin is the underworld's most wanted and Con soon learns he's the only one who can help her... and that saving her life might mean sacrificing his own.
I didn't think it could get any better after the previous Demonica books, but Sin Undone
made the impossible possible. The book can't be described as anything but a roller-coaster ride which steals time, robs sleep and makes you forget all about food. It's a nonstop action filled with most unexpected turns, mystery and danger.
It is also a beautiful romance. A very strong love story between two very strong and captivating characters. Sin and Conall is a great match and the development between them is what I believe every reader expects from the book.
Sin is an amazing heroine: strong, self-reliant, emotionally detached, at times cruel and yet, has a hidden depth no one knows about. Until Con brings it out. The reader can see her emotional growth, struggles and problems both Sin and Con must overcome. It is impossible not to fall in love with them, because they are the characters that leap out of pages.
Secondary characters and a side story are wonderfully integrated into the main plot enriching the story. Also allowing the reader to find out more about the old characters and how their lives continue. Thus said, I should mention that Sin Undone
is not a standalone book, though reading others is no hardship.
My one and only regret is that after finishing Sin Undone
I realized it was the last Demonica book. Fortunately, Larissa Ione continues writing and the next story - Eternal Rider
(Lords of Deliverance
series) takes place in the same world, thus giving hope of meeting the characters I fell in love with again.
I think I don't have to tell how much I recommend this book. Enjoy!
