My review

Finally a Dream-Hunter book that touched me. Granted, if compared with other books in Dark-Hunter series, it has a few similarities (a tortured hero, a heroine who shows him how to love and not just hate), but the fact is, Dream Chaser stands on its own. And more importantly - delivers.

I had one problem in the end of the book (the way Xypher solved everything with Satara seemed a little out of character for him, especially after everything what happened), but despite it, the book left its mark on me.

Entertaining, fast-paced and grabbing, Dream Chaser proved to be an emotional roller-coaster with both, interesting twists and characters to back it up. Xypher caught my attention in Devil May Cry and didn't disappoint me by coming back. On the contrary, his inner strength, values and vulnerabilities grabbed my heart. And the story of his - kept me till wee hours of night. I just couldn't let the book down.

It was well developed and balanced. With an intricate world (hard to understand for a new reader) and interesting secondary characters. Most importantly, an amazing heroine worthy of being called as such. Smart, funny, compassionate and not over the top, Simone was the perfect leading lady.

Once the hero had met her, he was doomed. And so was I, the moment I picked the book. And never regretted it.
